GNATHOSTOMIASIS
GNATHOSTOMIASIS
Abstract
INTRODUCTION
Cases of creeping eruptions are often seen in our clinical practice. Usually patients are treated empirically and detection of causative agent is not given due consideration. A patient of Gnathostomiasis diagnosed by identification of worm extracted from a cutaneous swelling is reported. The patient responded to treatment with tablet Albendazole. To the best of our knowledge this is the first case reported from Pakistan.
