Revision of Publication Frequency of Pakistan Armed Forces Medical Journal (PAFMJ
It is notified for the information of all authors, reviewers, Editorial Board members, readers, indexing agencies, and affiliated institutions that the publication schedule of the Pakistan Armed Forces Medical Journal (PAFMJ) has been revised with immediate effect.
Effective 01 July 2026, PAFMJ shall be published monthly, comprising a total of twelve (12) regular issues per calendar year, according to the following schedule:
- Six (6) print issues, which will also be made available online through the journal website.
- Six (6) online-only issues, published exclusively in electronic format.
In addition to the regular monthly issues, Supplementary Issues will be published as and when required.
This revision affects only the publication frequency and format. All existing editorial policies, peer-review procedures, ethical standards, manuscript submission requirements, and acceptance criteria shall remain unchanged.
The Editorial Office shall ensure that the revised publication schedule is duly reflected in all journal records, the journal website, indexing and abstracting databases, author communications, and other official correspondence.
This notification comes into force immediately and remains valid unless amended.
